Did you know? The chambourcin grape is a hybrid grape from the Loire Valley in France. While its parentage is unknown it has fast become a go to grape for growers in the United States. Created by Joannes Seyve in 1860 this grape has only been available since the 1960’s. Often considered the “Pennsylvania grape” many have confused this grape with being native to our country, but in fact its roots are in the vines of France.
